How to Be More Creative - A Guide to Deliberately Developing Your Creativity

A guest post that I recently wrote at the VIA Character Institute Blog was published this afternoon.  In it, I talk about how to uncover your "super-strength," the character strength that truly embodies your unique passion, purpose, and personal vision for what you wish to contribute to the world.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the VIA Character Institute, they (as well as Gallup) suggest that developing your strengths and spending time in activities that activate them are the pathways towards living a life full of meaning and flourishing.

Well I couldn't agree more.

I've been experimenting with ways to develop my "creativity" strength and identify the situations and contexts that activate it for the past 15 years.  As part of my PhD research over the past 3 years, I have been scientifically studying the mechanisms that facilitate creativity and innovation.

Today I would like to announce that on October 6th, I will release my new (free)book - How to Become a Creative Badass, a guide to mastering the creative process and deliberately developing your own creativity.  It distills my own explorations as well as the science of creativity and innovation into 9 actionable steps that you can begin implementing in your life today.

Whether one of your character strengths is creativity or not, I firmly believe that if you download this (free)book and implement the simple strategies I outline within it, you will become more creative in whatever it is that you do.

Life is too short to not create.  Get on the list today to receive your free copy of How to Become a Creative Badass on October 6th, 2015.
